Who works with personal trainers?

Working with a Personal Trainer ensures the exercises performed are specific to your goals and are executed safely. Personal Trainers have the knowledge and skills required to work around injuries and medical conditions that make effective exercise difficult. One-on-One Personal Training offers a schedule that is flexible and based on your needs while our online training allows us to serve a wider market.

We work with clients and athletes of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels. We also refer out clients who present with needs beyond our scope of practice.

What is client-centered coaching?

1) Know, understand, and respect our client’s priorities, values, and goals. We put their agendas and needs first.

2) Build a strong coach-client relationship and rapport

3) Remember that a client is always a person and never a number, condition, label, or personality trait.

4) Attune and relate to their thoughts, feeling, and potential suffering or challenges.

5) Do a lot of listening, learning, observing, and careful analysis.

6) Make decisions based on reality, rather than on what “should” happen.

7) Collaborate with clients, rather than telling them what to do.

In client-centered coaching, the coach is a guide, collaborator, or navigator.
 

How long does an in-person session last?

Sessions are designed to be either 30 or 60 minutes in length with the potential to run longer based on the trainer and client’s schedule.

How much do sessions/Programs cost?

Programs and session prices will vary based on the package selected. A full program is recommenced however nutrition only and workout online options are available. Generally the longer the program the more value. At Principi Fitness we have strived to make hiring a coach or trainer easy and priced fairly.

What training options do you offer?

1) Full One Year Program Online (Nutrition, Training, and Deep Health Coaching)

2) Personal Training only at studio ( In-person or Online options available)

3) Nutrition Coaching only (in person or online options available)

4) Small Group Training (in person)

Where do we train in person?

Principi Fitness has a private in-home studio for clients.

Studio features include:

Equipment: Cardio machines, Free weights, Trx, Kettlebell training, Medicine balls, Bands, Mobility equipment, Balance equipment, and more

Features: Air conditioned, WIFI, Spotify music streaming, TV with cable or Netflix etc, water and hydration beverages available, complimentary protein snack and shake, private washroom and shower facilities, optional backyard puppy playtime! (the dogs are kept on a seperate floor for all sessions)
 

How Do I contact my trainer if I choose online Training?

Coaches are available via text, and email and will answer within 24hrs-48hrs (and likely sooner) or on the phone/Skype or Zoom by appointment.

WHY NOT DO IT ALONE without a coach?

Of course, you can train alone. But we believe that our main purpose is to motivate you and develop a customized training program with you that corresponds to your requirements, problems, and goals. We will employ a program rooted in sound science that will ensure you are on the best path.

We will mainly be your advisor.  We can detect when your posture is not quite right or when you are putting too much pressure on the wrong muscles.  Also, we can recommend wellness paths or the right exercise.

CAN I TRAIN WITH A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER

Yes, we do offer partner training however we do not recommend it. The cost of the session will be lower for each individual as a result as the cost of hiring the trainer will be split between two or more people however the level of attention to each individual has to be split.

Are there any refunds if I am completely unsatisfied?

On our full one-year VIRTUAL program we do offer a money-back satisfaction guarantee at the end of the year. We are confident in our virtual program and the ability to make lasting changes in each individual we work with. No other programs carry this option.

I’VE STRUGGLED WITH MY WEIGHT AND FITNESS FOR A LONG TIME, HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

The purpose of a personal trainer is to provide a specific program based on underpinning expert knowledge. Each client has an initial consultation discussing barriers, objectives, and goals in preparation for beginning training.

The barriers to achieving your goals are just as important, so we can identify these and look at ways at overcoming them.

It is our job to both advise and motivate you to maintain your full commitment to the program and to continually adapt and progress your program to keep you interested and focused on achieving your goals.
